Xenakis Xenides is a Telecoms Engineer by profession. Having graduated the University of Liverpool in 1970 with a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Telecoms, he was employed by the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority where he served for 27 years in the higher ranks, managing various sections - from maintenance of the satellite earth station and telecom systems to installation of digital exchanges and planning/ procuring of civil aviation systems. Project Management is one of his strong points, with successful handling on contract negotiation and implementation. He is skilled in organization and office procedures and has the ability to achieve short term and long term goals and meet operational deadlines. Following an early retirement from the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (CYTA), Xenakis is a founder of XMAS Productions, a company aiming at producing quality family entertainment for international distribution.
